Explosion in the Bronx leaves one injured: FDNY

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) -- An individual was injured in connection to an explosion at a private dwelling in the Bronx Sunday afternoon, according to the FDNY.

The incident happened at 3811 Paulding Avenue.

Emergency personnel, fire crews, hazmat teams, and the Department of Buildings responded to a report of a fire at around 12:44 p.m.

12 units were able to get the fire under control at around 12:58 p.m.

One civilian was transported to the Jacobi Hospital, officials said.
