’s

fashion evolution

in the third season of Shark Tank India, has just been super

stylish

. The businesswoman has put her best foot forward this season and it’s been a conscious decision.
After years of

dressing down

, Namita shared with ETimes TV, how she broke out of her mould and upped her fashion game. The Shark said, “To be honest, a lot of it I did it for myself. For too many years, I have dressed down. People would always say that you don’t get taken seriously as a business leader if you are flaunting your fashion. So I would tie my hair, dress down and not wear makeup. I would wear glasses and dull colours for too long. The one day I thought, you know what I am going to be me. I enjoy fashion, I really do. And I am going to be what I am.”
She further added, “In season 3, for the first time I really stepped out of my comfort zone. Whether it’s my hairstyle, makeup or outfits, I tried everything which I otherwise wouldn’t have tried. I have a great team in terms of stylists, hair person. Together the team, really guided me and helped me. And I absolutely enjoyed the journey.”
Adding to what more audience can expect this season in terms of her styling, Namita said, “They wanted me to wear a saree so I think that’s coming up. They have been trying for the last five months to convince me to wear a saree, which is something I don’t do a lot. And hence I resisted. But there is a look coming up on that as well. That’s again coming out of my comfort zone. Probably that you haven’t seen.”
