got candid about his return in the

I got a chance to break the monotonous flavour of Toshu
To be very honest, it was very much unexpected for me.

Earlier, we shot for a few days and then we were gone. Nothing was clear about the leap and everything was in talking terms. Somewhere I was really happy that I wanted to break the monotonous

flavour

of Toshu which was actually seeping through inside the audience and especially me. I got that break, I worked on myself, little aspects of it and I wanted to have a different look. I was dependent on the creatives on how they would want to shape the character so that I could add my nuances to it.
I was overwhelmed and touched by the response

I am really glad with the audience's support and the way they have accepted me again. I recently went to the Lohri night at my friend's place. Everyone in his vicinity was so happy to see me. Some of them asked me about my return to the show while some complimented my new look and my re-entry into the show. I was really overwhelmed and touched by their response.
Toshu doesn't want to touch the old chords again
As far as I know, I have only shot for a few scenes here and there. Toshu has made few decisions due to which he has left his house. Now, he is entirely a different person and doesn't want to touch the old chords again. He is strongly focused on it. It is more like when we leave our homes and go to a different city. There is a certain power that we feel comes with it as we won't be answerable to our parents and all. All of us have gone through it, some may be in that phase. So in such instances when one either burdens under the tag of being a loser, or channels the aggression into something else or takes a positive turn. But Toshu is none of the above. Toshu is completely opposite of what Anupamaa, Vanraj and Kinjal have perceived him to be.

Toshu will take ownership
This time Toshu is completely different. He is not black, white or grey but out of the box. It is so exciting, I am so happy and excited to play it. Earlier, Toshu used to get blamed for everything. Now, he is taking ownership of whatever is happening in his life. Earlier, he used to run away from ownership but this time he is here to give it back.
