Ex-TCS director Phiroz Vandrevala passes away at 71

TCS director

Phiroz Vandrevala died of

cardiac arrest

on Tuesday. He was 71. He is

survived

by his wife Sashi, step daughter and two brothers Firdose and Kersie. Vandrevala joined TCS in 1982 and served as a key part of the leadership team over the decades, including serving as an executive director between 2007 and 2016.
He was also involved in taking TCS public via an IPO in 2004, opening new markets for the software services company and mentoring a new generation of TCSers, the company said.
