NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Fortnite players are continuing to face issues with the platform as its parent company Epic Games works to address outages.
Thousands of players reported issues with server connection, gameplay and login, from Friday night into Saturday, according to Down Detector.
"We are aware of an issue where players cannot log in, matchmake, or select a game in the Discover Lobby," read a statement on Epic Games' status page. "We are actively investigating it and will update this thread once we have more info."
Epic Games confirmed on its status page that there was an ongoing major outage with Fortnite's matchmaking and a partial outage with logging in.
Additionally, the gaming company reported issues with lobbies and sessions on Epic Online Services.
Players can stay updated on the restoration status online.
