Rohit, in the video, despite a loud noise in the background, was heard saying: "Ek ek cheez change ho raha hai...Woh unke upar hai...Jo bhi hai woh mera ghar hai bhai, woh temple jo hai na maine banwaya hai." The last audible line in the chat was: "Bhai mera kya mera to ye last hai".
Rohit's dialogue sparked various reactions across social media, with many fans becoming emotional amid speculations that the
IPL 2024
might mark Rohit's final season.
Just before the 2024 edition, Mumbai Indians announced

as the new captain, replacing Rohit who guided MI to five title wins.
