Police recovered a liquor bottle from the 22-year-old's car. Three others were injured. The driver, Lavesh Kevalramani, is the son of a businessman who had gone to a banquet hall in Ulhanagar, for a wedding reception.
Cops said a drunk Kevalramani was speeding in his car when he hit an autorickshaw on Kalyan-Ambernath road around 5.15am.
