BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A dog was shot and killed by police officers in the Bronx on Saturday afternoon, according to the NYPD.
Two officers from the 42nd precinct responded to calls of a dog attacking people at around 2:13 p.m. Upon arrival the officers discharged their weapon and shot the dog, officials stated.
One person was taken to Lincoln Hospital for minor injuries, and both officers were taken to an area hospital for evaluation, officials stated.
