Annamalai on Wednesday stated that Kanimozhi had won twice as MP because she was the daughter of former chief minister M Karunanidhi.
Sekarbabu told reporters in Chennai, “If Annamalai had contested as an independent candidate, he too would have lost the deposit.
He is speaking out of despair.”
The HR and CE minister asked Annamalai to contest again in the 2026 assembly election and to retain his deposit.
Geetha Jeevan told reporters in Chennai that everyone in DMK are Karunanidhi's sons and daughters and they won because of the party's ideology. It is AIADMK which should start introspecting reasons for BJP's growth in the state, she said responding to a query on the saffron party’s vote share increasing.
