Divya Agarwal, who got engaged to boyfriend Apurva Padgaonkar in 2020, is all set to get married in February. The ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ winner will get married to her restaurateur fiancé on February 20th at her house in Chembur.
Ever since Dvya shared her wedding announcement video, fans have been waiting for the big day. Amid much excitement, the actor has shared interesting details about her wedding. During a conversation with E-Times, Divya confirmed the news and said, “We are getting married at home, and we are very proud of that decision because, honestly, we didn’t want to go with the regular ideas. People book a five-star hotel, and do all the festivities in the banquets and near the swimming pool, but I really wanted to do something offbeat. I wanted an experience.”
Divya’s wedding preparations will begin from February 18th starting with a sangeet ceremony, followed by mehendi on the 19th. The pheras will take place on February 20.
The actor, who is juggling between the preparations, revealed that she is missing her father at this important hour. “I am happy at times and sad because I miss my father. I am very emotional yet very happy,” she said.
Other than the preparations, the ‘Cartel’ actor also spoke about her wedding look and mentioned that they have ditched the regular colour codes of yellow, green or pastels. “We have selected a color palette of red and purple. The pheras are going to be around sunset. We have not seen the outfit yet, but quite excited.”
