, who rose to fame with his stint on 'Bigg Boss Tamil' and the success of his film 'Dada' afterwards is playing the lead role in director Elan's upcoming film 'Star'.
Director Elan
of 'Pyaar Prema Kaadhal' fame is happy with the progress of the film and is satisfied with a scene shot yesterday.
Sharing a picture of himself and Kavin from the shooting spot of the film,
Elan

'Star' will have a mix of everything including a college story, romance and family drama.
It is to be noted that the project initially had Harish Kalyan playing the lead role after which it was dropped due to various reasons. The film was revived earlier last year with Kavin being roped in to play the lead role. Director Elan had earlier revealed that the film will focus on three stages of the hero's life, and he was happy in reuniting with Harish Kalyan for the film.
