and other parts of the state. It was expected to continue for the next few days. Day and

night

temperature remained below normal mark in Bhopal.
Officials of meteorological department, Bhopal circle said that there was a jet stream over north India. It leads to high velocity winds and dip in temperatures.

It had an impact over MP and dip in night temperature was likely to continue for the next two days. Day temperature in Bhopal on Friday was recorded at 23.3 degrees Celsius, two degrees less than normal mark, while night temperature was 9.4 degrees Celsius, a degree less than normal mark. Wind direction was northerly and average wind speed was 10KMPH. The lowest temperature in the state was recorded at 2.5 degrees Celsius in Chhatarpur.

In forecast for Bhopal on Saturday, meteorological officials said that there would be clear sky. Day and night temperature would be respectively 23 degrees and 9 degrees Celsius while average wind speed will be 10KMPH.

In the forecast for the state, meteorological officials issued warning of moderate to dense fog for Chambal divisions and for Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Panna, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Ashok Nagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior and Datia districts.
A warning of light to moderate fog was issued for Mauganj, Satna and Damoh districts. A warning of ground frost was issued for Sagar, Chhatarpur and Guna. Warning of a cold wave was issued for Chhatarpur, Sagar, Guna and Datia district.

A warning of a severe cold day was issued for Chhatarpur, Gwalior and Datia districts. A warning of a cold day was issued for Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Panna, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Bhind and Morena districts. A possibility of light rain and thunderclap was underlined for Anuppur, Seoni, Mandla and Balaghat districts. The weather would be dry over the remaining places in the state.
