Reports of Pooja Hegde getting death threats were being widely circulated on Wednesday. It reportedly began when a paparazzo account claimed that Pooja had been receiving threats of that nature after her alleged argument with someone in Dubai. However, the actor's team stated that the reports were false.
POOJA HEGDE'S TEAM RELEASES A STATEMENT
On Thursday, Pooja Hegde's team clarified that she has not received any kind of threat and the reports carrying such claims are baseless and false.
The team told Free Press Journal, "We don’t know who started this fake news. It is totally untrue.”
The social media post by the said paparazzo has since been deleted.
ON POOJA'S WORK FRONT
On the work front, Pooja was last seen in Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which tanked at the box office. Apart from Salman and Pooja, the film also featured Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Palak Tiwari, Siddharth Nigam and Venkatesh Daggubati in pivotal roles.
The actor is now looking forward to the release of the action-thriller Deva, co-starring Shahid Kapoor. The film is being helmed by Rosshan Andrews and will be bankrolled by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Zee Studios. It is said to release in October next year.
