NEW DELHI: A devotee collapsed due to a

heart attack

at the Ram temple ‘

Pran Pratishtha

’ ceremony on Monday but was saved by the timely intervention of a mobile hospital operated by the

IAF

's rapid response team.
Following the collapse of Ramkrishna Srivastava (65) within the temple complex, the swift response from the

BHISHM Cube

team, under the leadership of Wing Commander Manish Gupta, facilitated the evacuation of Srivastava within a minute of the incident.

The team capitalized on the critical golden hour, which is the first hour following a medical event, to ensure successful emergency treatment.
Srivastava's blood pressure had spiked to a dangerously high level of 210/170 mm Hg, but the rapid response team managed to stabilize his condition at the site.

Subsequently, he was transferred to the civil hospital for further observation and specialized care.
The Arogya Maitri Disaster Management project had deployed two Cube-BHISHM mobile hospitals in Ayodhya to enhance medical readiness and response capabilities during the ceremony. These mobile hospitals are equipped with innovative tools designed to support disaster response and provide medical assistance in emergencies.
