TV actor Dev Joshi is set to reprise the role of Baal Veer in a special digital edition, which will be streamed on SonyLIV. Apart from returning as the superhero, the actor was recently in the news for being the only Indian celebrity to be part of dearMoon crew, Elon Musk's SpaceX program. In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday. In, Dev shared the latest update on the project and also revealed how he would like to take his ‘Baal Veer’ costume along.

“There has been a delay in the mission, firstly because of Covid. We recently had a meeting, and things are shaping up well. It is the biggest rocket ever being made and the starship's development is aligned well. They are testing it continuously to make it fit for the space and a safe ride for us. Once that's done, we will start with our training in the USA. As soon as I get an update, I will share it with all of you, and my fans,” the actor said.

Even though it's businessman and investor Elon Musk's passion project, Dev shared they are yet to meet him. “I am still awaiting my USA visa. It would be great to meet him (Elon Mask) and learn more about his vision. As of now, I have conversed with Yusaku Maezawa and my other teammates. We often get together virtually to bond. We are all looking forward to the project,” he said.

As readers may know, the project's theme is world peace, and Dev Joshi shared that they would promote the same. When asked if he could take something along, he replied, “We are planning to have the Indian flag on my costume. I think each crew member would like to represent their country when in space. Apart from that, if given a chance, I would also like to take my ‘Baal Veer’ costume along. That would be a great inter-planet promotion.”

Starting May 6, ‘Baal Veer 4’ will stream on SonyLIV.
