Rohit now owns the record of scoring most runs against DC, surpassing former RCB skipper Kohli's record of 1030 runs in 28 matches. Rohit, on the other hand, has 1034 runs under his belt in 35 matches.
Chennai Super Kings batter Ajinkya Rahane features third on the list with 858 runs in 23 matches followed by Robin Uthappa (740 runs) and MS Dhoni (709 runs).
Earlier in the match, Jake Fraser-McGurk showcased his batting prowess in the scorching Delhi heat, smashing a blistering 84 off just 27 deliveries. His innings propelled Delhi Capitals to an imposing total of 257 for four against Mumbai Indians.
Fraser-McGurk's fiery knock was complemented by Tristan Stubbs' unbeaten 48 off 25 balls in the death overs. The duo's explosive batting display helped DC post their highest-ever score in IPL history.
Opening for DC for the second time this season, the 22-year-old Fraser-McGurk equalled his own record for the fastest fifty this season getting the milestone off just 15 balls after the hosts were put in to bat by MI.
