A prompt response by a nurse in New Delhi’s Dwarka saved a man’s life after he fell unconscious inside a parked car.

Jaspreet Kaur, on her way to the Max Super Speciality Hospital where she works, noticed a crowd surrounding a parked car on the roadside and filming it on June 15.

Upon finding an elderly person inside the car motionless, Kaur and her husband broke the car’s back window to unlock it, while others continued recording videos.

Realising the person was unresponsive, they contacted the police and moved the individual to the roadside for safety. Kaur then began Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), which helped save the man’s life.

CPR involves chest compressions and is a lifesaving technique for individuals experiencing cardiac arrest.

The police arrived soon, and the patient was transported to a nearby hospital.
