Final pre-poll Parliament session begins; Probe agency to question Hemant Soren

Parliament's last session before the Lok Sabha polls began on Wednesday with an address by the President of India. Addressing the joint sitting of Parliament at the beginning of the Budget session, the President said enrolment of Scheduled Caste students has increased by about 44 per cent, that of Scheduled Tribe students by more than 65 per cent and that of OBC by more than 44 per cent. In another news, amid heavy security cover, Enforcement Directorate officials reached Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s residence here to question him in a money laundering case linked to an alleged land scam.
