A Delhi-bound IndiGo flight returned to the Patna airport minutes after its take-off due to a technical snag.
According to a statement from the Patna airport, Patna-Delhi IndiGo flight 2074 took off from Patna at 12.58 pm, but it requested an emergency landing due to a technical glitch.
Sources said the aircraft landed back safely at the Patna airport and all passengers were safe.
Similar incidents took place in August last year. A Ranchi-bound IndiGo flight returned to Delhi airport within an hour after its take-off due to a technical snag. A passenger onboard the flight said the pilot announced mid-air about the technical glitch in the aircraft, and that the flight was returning to the Delhi airport.
It was the second incident of an IndiGo flight returning to the airport due to a technical snag. A day before, a Delhi-bound IndiGo flight made an emergency landing at the Patna airport after one of its engines became inoperative.
