Amitabh Bachchan on Friday shared a new photo of the entire team of 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Deepika Padukone, who stars alongside Bachchan in the film, was also featured in the photo. Wearing a black bodycon dress with a halter neckline, she radiated her pregnancy glow and looked lovely. She sat on a chair as all the other actors surrounded her for a happy click.

The team also looked colour-coordinated as they attended the pre-release event of 'Kalki 2898 AD' earlier this week. Bachchan, along with Kamal Haasan and Prabhas, wore a black outfit for the promotional event. He called his co-stars 'greats' and made a simple caption. Big B wrote, "In .. IN , the company of GREATS !! KALKI !! Simply intoxicating !!! (sic)."

At the event which took place in Mumbai on Wednesday, Bachchan also shared a light moment with Deepika and Prabhas. As she tried to step down from the stage, Prabhas rushed to lend his support and Big B teased him for not letting him help her. The event showed the bonding that the actors share as Deepika joked about her pregnancy and others let her take all the attention.

'Kalki 2898 AD' is Deepika's fourth film with Bachchan in a full-fledged role. Apart from Prabhas and Haasan, they are joined by Disha Patani, Dulquer Salmaan and Rana Daggubati in the film. The science-fiction drama is directed by Nag Ashwin, credited for 'Yevade Subramanyam' (2015), 'Mahanati' (2018), 'Pitta Kathalu' (2021) and 'Jathi Ratnalu' (2021) in the past. The story of 'Kalki 2898 AD', considered one of the most expensive Indian films, is set in the post-apocalyptic world. The second trailer of the film is expected to be released today. It is scheduled for release on June 27.
