's love story officially began on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela in 2012. The sparks flew and their relationship blossomed into something more than friendship. They tied the knot in a private ceremony in Italy on November 14 and 15, 2018. And now the couple is eager to start a family together.
During her recent interview with Vogue Singapore, Deepika talked about her how Indian personalities have come a long way from not being recognised for their value to now being the face of one of the biggest luxury houses in the world. She added that she feels particularly proud because she has done it on her own terms while staying true to my culture and heritage.
She further added that she is not fascinated by fame in isolation. She thinks that with fame one can do so much and believes that our choices, that we make consciously or subconsciously, have power through which you send out subtle messages. She then emphasised on her choice of movies and that the roles that she play, which have always been a way for her to speak to her community.

"When I meet the people I have grown up with they always mention how I haven't changed one bit. That says alot about our upbringing. My family keeps me grounded and

and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children," Deepika said.
In addition, when Deepika was asked if she is planning to become a mother, she replied with a smile on her face, "Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family."
