DEEPIKA BACKS ALIA'S REVIEW OF '12TH FAIL'

Actresses Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone expressed their admiration for Vidhu Vinod Chopra's latest drama, '12th Fail', on Tuesday. The film, featuring Vikrant Massey in the lead, has been gaining popularity on OTT platforms following a successful theatrical run.

Both Alia and Deepika took to Instagram to share their reviews. Alia declared it one of the most beautiful films she has seen in a while, praising the performances and calling it 'moving', 'inspiring' and 'complete'. Deepika backed Alia's review, and sharing a screenshot, she congratulated the entire cast and crew. The 'Pathaan' actor wrote, "+1. I couldn't agree more! Congratulations to the entire cast and crew @vidhuvinodchoprafilms @vikrantmassey @medhashankr (sic)."

Alia shared her thoughts on ‘12th Fail’ with a post on Instagram. The film has been creating waves on the internet. She shared the film’s poster and wrote, “One of the most beautiful films I have seen in a while! With such fabulous performances.. Just too too too beautiful!!!!” (red heart emojis).

ABOUT '12TH FAIL'

'12th Fail' tells the story of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who rose from extreme poverty to become an Indian Police Service officer. Vikrant plays Manoj, while Medha Shankar portrays his wife, IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. The film emerged as a surprise hit last year, clocking Rs 67 cr worldwide and attracting a wider audience after premiering on Disney Plus Hotstar.
