Deadly car fire claims 1 in Brooklyn, cause under investigation: Officials

BROOKLYN (PIX11) – A car fire in Cypress Hills led to the discovery of a dead individual on Monday, according to the FDNY.
Firefighters responded to calls of a fire at around 7:25 p.m. It took 12 fire units and 60 FDNY personnel to get the fire under control. The fire was extinguished at 8:03 p.m., fire officials said.
It is still unclear what started the deadly blaze. The incident is still under investigation by the fire marshal and the NYPD.
