Fans of
Sister Wives
have seen
Christine Brown
's love for husband
David Woolley
on the TLC hit, and happily for them, there will be much more of it in the future.
"People are going to see a lot of the two of us," Brown, 52, says in a joint interview with her husband. "I'm really excited for everybody to meet David more because he's really genuine."
Woolley made his
debut
on Sister Wives: One-on-One last season, before the couple's wedding special aired in January.
But being on the show, adds Woolley, was not an easy transition—one that Brown "hasn't" prepared him for.
"They threw me to the wolves," Woolley jokes, adding that he "never wanted to be on camera" until now.
Brown, on the other hand, had started talking about what it would be like to see Woolley on television early on. "Once we start talking, I ask, 'What do you think about filming a date?'" And he says, 'Oh, what does that even mean?' So I broke it down a little bit, and I didn't do much preparation, and I had no idea I hadn't prepared him enough. But now he's in more episodes."
Brown praises Woolley's "real and authentic" performance, stating that "the magic of David is it doesn't take a lot of training or preparation."
"I don't really prepare him for anything. It's like, this is it. This is basically what we're talking about. We're going to meet and do an interview, and this is it," she adds. "But he's just true and real, and I believe that comes through. I think he comes across quite well since he is just himself."
