JAIPUR: The

district police on Sunday busted a gang by arresting four persons for a major theft involving the replacement of the truck driver responsible for transporting sacks of milk powder valued at Rs 1 crore, originally destined for Haryana.

said that the police also discovered 1,153 sacks of milk powder worth Rs 1 crore on information from the accused from a warehouse in Nawalgarh of Jhunjhunu district.
She said that the police arrested

. Rana mentioned that four absconders, identified as
Zaid Ahmed
, Rahul, Arif, Kapil, Sahbuddin, and Satveer, are on the run.
Rana said that on January 10, the manager of a milk food company lodged an FIR at the Mahwa police station of the district. In the complaint, the manager alleged that a truck from the milk plant on January 6 was loaded with 1,200 sacks of milk powder for transportation to Kurukshetra in Haryana.
The truck was reported missing, with the mobile phone of the driver also switched off. "Our teams examined the truck's route in the surrounding areas and scanned as many as 900 CCTVs of areas spread across about 500 km. The teams also searched across Dausa, Alwar, Bharatpur, Jaipur, and its nearby areas like Andhi, Shahpura, Manoharpur, and Neemkathana," Rana said.
She said police learned that as part of the conspiracy the appointed a new truck driver and sent him replace the driver and instead of taking the truck to its slated destination of Haryana, the truck driver stopped the truck before reaching Sikandra toll plaza.
