A new CCTV footage in connection with Renukaswamy's murder and the arrest of Kannada star Darshan Thoogudeepa and his wife has emerged, showing a white car at a toll plaza in Karnataka's Chitradurga.

In the video, a white car could be seen, in which the alleged in the case ferried Renukaswamy from Chitradurga to Bengaluru, on the pretext of arranging a meeting between him and actor Darshan.

According to the details, the car was rented.

Renukaswamy was first being ferried in an auto rickshaw and was later shifted to a car.

Darshan and his wife Pavithra Gowda were arrested in connection with the murder of Renukaswamy.

The victim's body was then dumped in a stormwater drain at Kamakshipalya.

The incident came to light after a food delivery person alerted the police about dogs eating the body of a man.

So far, 16 people have been arrested in the case, including Darshan and Pavithra.
