NEW YORK (PIX11) – Wednesday is Valentine's Day... and PIX11 is celebrating with some delicious cocktails you can make to impress your loved ones!
Mixologist and beverage consultant Pam Wiznitzer joined New York Living to share some show-stopping drinks: a Pistachio Rose Collins, an elderflower rose sour and the Sgroppino.
Find the recipes for the two drinks below.
Elderflower Rose Sour:
2 oz empress elderflower rose gin
.75 lemon
.75 simple syrup
Directions: combine ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake and strain up into a coupe and garnish with a rose Petal.
Pistachio Rose Collins
Glendalough rose gin
.75 lemon
.75 pistachio syrup
Soda water
Directions: garnish/rim the glass with crushed pistachio. Combine ingredients except soda water into a shaker and shake. Strain into a highball glass with ice and top with soda water.
The Sgroppino
1 oz liqueur - Savoia or italicus
4 oz sparkling wine - Aphrodise or Rosa regale
1 Scoop of sorbet - strawberry or pomegranate
Directions: Add sorbet to glass. Top with liqueur and prosecco
