Cop loiters at Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav’s meeting venue, triggers security scare

: A man in police uniform, who was seen hanging around a meeting venue of Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav in Shahdol district, triggered suspicion of a security breach Saturday. Refuting rumours that the man was an imposter in police uniform, Shahdol SP Kumar Prateek said he was indeed a cop but wasn’t deployed at the CM’s event. “He is a constable who was deployed on traffic management duty, quite far from the venue of the programme.
He was seen talking to some girls who had come for a performance, triggering suspicion,” the SP added.
