The 25-year-old's explosive 31-run knock off 17 balls played a pivotal role in PBKS's thrilling 3-wicket victory, showcasing his ability to finish games under pressure.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, Ashutosh expressed gratitude towards the Punjab Kings' management for instilling belief in him.
"Confidence was there because the coaches and Punjab Kings management believed in me a lot. They were backing me a lot. That confidence, I carried," Ashutosh stated.
He emphasized the importance of repaying the faith shown by the coaches, highlighting their encouragement towards him as a finisher. "They told me 'You're such a player who is capable of finishing games for us'. I feel happy to have repaid the faith shown by the coaches," he added.

Ashutosh also commended his teammate
Shashank Singh
for his crucial contribution, describing his innings as "very good." Reflecting on their partnership during the run chase, he revealed their calm approach, stating, "We both were very calm, we didn't panic at all."
