ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Some New York state pensioners woke up to double payments in their bank account Thursday morning.
The Office of the Comptroller oversees the pensions is aware of the problem and is working to fix the situation.
The Office of the Comptroller responded to NEWS10's inquiry about the incident: "Due to a banking error, some retirees received two direct deposits. We are working with the banks to rectify this immediately."
