NEW DELHI: Cold weather conditions continued in the national capital on Sunday morning. People gathered around bonfires to keep warm in different places around the city.
According to the IMD, the minimum temperature in the city could drop to 7 degrees, while the maximum temperature is expected to reach 25 degrees Celsius.
Due to poor visibility, several flights were delayed at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Sunday.
Delhi Airport has issued an advisory stating that flights not compliant with CAT III regulations may be affected.
The weather agency forecasts a maximum temperature of around 25 degrees Celsius in the city over the next two days.
The Met Department also predicts light rainfall in Central India from February 10-12 and in East India from February 12-14.
Last week, North India, including Delhi, experienced severe cold and dense fog, causing travel disruptions and inconvenience to passengers.
Previously, Delhi and several places in Uttar Pradesh were affected by cold weather and dense fog, resulting in delays in flights, trains, and other modes of transportation.
