NEW YORK (PIX11) - Residential buildings with up to nine units in New York City will be required to use trash bins later this year.

Jessica Tisch, NYC’s Department of Sanitation commissioner, joins PIX11 to discuss the implementation of the new rule, expanding the program to larger buildings, and the challenges of composting in the city.
