CLAT Counselling List 2023: The

Consortium of National Law Universities

(

NLUs

) has published the initial provisional

allotment list

for the

Common Law Admission Test

(CLAT) counselling for the academic session 2024-25. Candidates' allotments are determined by a combination of merit and their expressed preferences in the counselling form. Any discrepancies in the allotment can be addressed by contacting the CLAT office via email at [email protected].
The allotment list is accessible on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in, and is presented in PDF format. It is designed for admissions to five-year integrated and postgraduate law programs. The list includes essential details such as the candidate's All India rank in

, admit card information, vertical and horizontal reservation details.
Candidates allotted seats based on their indicated NLU preferences are required to pay a non-refundable Confirmation Fee of Rs. 20,000 before selecting a 'Freeze' or 'Float' option in the First, Second, and Third rounds of counselling. The Confirmation Fee is applicable only once throughout the entire Admissions and Counseling Process.
The schedule for further rounds of counselling and fee payment is outlined as follows:

Date: From December 26, 2023, to January 02, 2024
• Second Allotment List
Date: January 8, 2024
Fee Payment: January 8, 2024, to January 12, 2024
• Third Allotment List
Date: January 22, 2024
Fee Payment: January 22, 2024, to January 25, 2024
• Fourth Allotment List
Date: May 20, 2024
Fee Payment: May 20, 2024, to May 23, 2024
• Fifth and Final Allotment List
Date: May 28, 2024
Fee Payment: May 28, 2024, to May 31, 2024

After the fifth round, the central

admission process

conducted by the Consortium will conclude. However, member NLUs may admit candidates to fill the remaining vacant seats based on their prescribed norms. Candidates not exercising any options within the specified time in a particular round will be considered "Not Interested" in the Admission Counseling Process.

Refund of the Counselling Registration Fee
If a candidate meets any of the following criteria:
Is not allotted a seat by the Consortium at the conclusion of the Fifth round of the Admissions Counselling Process; or
Has not opted for the Freeze or Float option and has exited the Counselling Process, then the Counselling Registration Fee will be fully refunded.
In the case where a candidate has been allotted a seat and has selected the Float or Freeze option but subsequently decides to Exit or fails to complete their admission at the chosen NLU by paying their fees, the Counselling Registration Fee will be refunded in full if the Exit option is exercised before 1:00 P.M. on May 23, 2024. If the Exit option is exercised after this time, a deduction of Rs 5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand only) will be applied to the refund amount.
Candidates must prepare a soft or scanned copy of the following documents for the Admissions Counselling Process:
For the Undergraduate (UG) Programme
• Grade 10 statement of marks*
• CLAT 2024 Admit Card*
• Grade 12 statement of marks
• Character Certificate/Conduct Certificate from the last attended Educational Institution
• Transfer/Migration Certificate from the last attended Educational Institution
• Caste Certificate (SC, ST, OBC, etc.) if applied and allotted under the Reserved category of seats*
• PwD/SAP Certificate, if applied and allotted under the PwD category*
• Domicile/Residence Certificate, if applied and allotted under the domicile/resident category seat*
• Any other supporting documents to claim your seat for the category you have applied (e.g., Wards of • Serving/Retired Defence Personnel, EWS certificate, Sons/daughters of Ex-servicemen/Defence service personnel)*
For the Postgraduate (PG) Programme:
• Grade 10 statement of marks*
• CLAT 2024 Admit Card*
• Grade 12 statement of marks*
• LL.B./B.L./Equivalent Degree Statement of Marks
• Character Certificate/Conduct Certificate from the last attended Educational Institution
• Transfer/Migration Certificate from the last attended Educational Institution
• Caste Certificate (SC, ST, OBC, etc.) if applied and allotted under the Reserved category of seats*
• PwD/SAP Certificate, if applied and allotted under the PwD category*
• Domicile/Residence Certificate, if applied and allotted under the domicile/resident category seat*
