City Councilman explains bill to put social workers in NYPD precincts

NEW YORK (PIX11) – A new bill would require the NYPD to place social workers in all police precincts.

The goal is to assist the NYPD with mental health emergencies, bringing the unique skill set of social work right to where it’s needed most.
