Irish star Cillian Murphy recently confirmed the news of Peaky Blinders' film adaptation and stated that the movie would release on Netflix. In a quote shared to Netflix, the actor said that he is dedicating the movie to Peaky Blinders' fans.
“It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me. It is very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This one is for the fans,” Cillian told the OTT platform.
Later, an Instagram post regarding the same was shared by Netflix's official social media handle.

Murphy essayed the lead role of Tommy Shelby in the BBC drama. The series also starred the likes of Tom Hardy, Paul Anderson, Anya Taylor-Joy among others in pivotal roles.
Spanning six seasons, Peaky Blinders the show finally drew the curtain on the project in 2022.
