LOWER MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – The Charging Bull statue was vandalized with graffiti during a pro-Palestinian march in Lower Manhattan Thursday night, according to a report from the New York Post.

The graffiti read "Death to Israel" and "Free Palestine," photos taken by the New York Post showed.

Multiple people were arrested at City Hall during the march, the New York Post reported.

The protest was held amid renewed calls for a ceasefire after 70 Palestinians were killed and another 280 people were injured while they waited for humanitarian aid in Gaza.
