Car nearly flips over Kosciuszko Bridge; one dead, multiple injured

MASPETH (PIX11) – One person is dead and a child is recovering after a multi-car crash on the Kosciuszko Bridge Thursday morning, officials said.

The four-car crash happened on the westbound Brooklyn Queens Expressway at around 10:50 a.m. A 75-year-old man died and eight other people were taken to the hospital, including a 9-year-old girl, police said.

It was unclear what caused the crash.

Drivers were warned of traffic delays on the Brooklyn-bound side of the Kosciuszko Bridge, according to a post from NotifyNYC.
