As per police, an information was received by it that a car probably a Baleno or Swift, fell in the canal near Doraha late evening. It added that people who were present at the spot, informed the police. DSP Payal Nikhil Garg said that divers were sent into the canal but due to darkness and
muddy water
, the car couldn’t be located.
Police officials said that efforts will be made tomorrow early morning to locate the car and take it out of the canal. They added that as of now there is no clarity regarding the number of passengers in the car.
