Burglar stole artwork worth $4.8K from Brooklyn gallery: NYPD

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) --- Police are searching for a man who stole nearly 30 pieces of art with close to $5,000 from a Brooklyn art gallery last month, according to the NYPD and the gallery.

Authorities said the thief broke into Green Fa Llo Dba TigerBob at 51 35th St. at around 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 24 and took artwork worth $4,800. The business reported 29 pieces of art were taken, according to a social media post.

The suspect took off after the heist and remained at large, as of Monday, police said.
