Brooklyn woman charged after dismembered body found in home

NEW YORK (PIX11) – A Brooklyn woman has been charged after a dismembered body was found in her fridge and freezer, according to the NYPD.

Heather Stines, 45, was charged with concealment of a human corpse. Officers went to Stines' home on Nostrand Avenue in Flatbush for a wellness check Monday night, according to authorities.

That's when they found a man's body, police said. Authorities bagged up mounds of evidence from the home.

Police are still working to identify the man. His death was ruled a homicide, according to authorities.
