NEW YORK (PIX11) – Only two Brooklyn neighborhoods are among the 10 most expensive in New York City, according to a report from PropertyShark.
“Manhattan continues to lead the top 10 (comprising 11 neighborhoods due to one tie in median sale price), ranking nine neighborhoods among the city’s most expensive, of which eight surpassed $2 million,” according to the study published by the real estate database and research website.
The median home price in Carroll Gardens and Redhook, two Brooklyn neighborhoods, is just shy of $2 million.

PropertyShark obtained their study by obtaining data based on residential property sales listed in New York City’s Automated City Register Information System. According to the company, the borough of Staten Island was excluded from their report.
