Brooklyn man arrested in death of child, 3: NYPD

EAST FLATBUSH, Brooklyn (PIX11) - A Brooklyn man was arrested and charged related to the death of a 3-year-old child found in an East Flatbush apartment Sunday night, according to the NYPD.

Kevin James, 29, now faces murder and assault charges related to the child's death, according to police. The relationship between James and the 3-year-old was not immediately clear, but police listed James' address as the same location the baby was found.

The child was found inside a bathtub in the New York Avenue apartment around 9:45 p.m. with trauma to his head and neck, according to law enforcement sources.
