Brooklyn lottery player won $1M in Powerball drawing

NEW YORK (PIX11) --- A Brooklyn lottery player won $1 million in Saturday's Powerball drawing, officials said.

The second-prize winning ticket was sold at Bridge Food Mart at 427 Wythe Ave. in Williamsburg, according to lottery officials.

The lucky lottery player struck big a week after someone won $1 million in a Mega Millions drawing. The ticket was also sold in Brooklyn.
