Bronx Zoo Holiday Lights return this week: How to get tickets

BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – The holidays are around the corner, and the Bronx Zoo is ready to celebrate. 

The zoo’s Holiday Lights event returns Friday and will last through Jan. 5, 2025. Brightly lit displays will take attendees through a world of wildlife, from Africa to Asia to the depths of the ocean.

Colorful lights will cover the zoo, along with attractions like musical performances, ice carving, s’mores roasting and a holiday train.

When can you view the Bronx Zoo Holiday Lights?

The holiday display will be open to the public on Nov. 22-24, 29, and 30; Dec. 1, 5-8, 12-15, 19-23, and 26-31; and Jan. 3-5, 2025. 

How do you buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online. There are different prices for peak and non-peak hours as well as fixed-date tickets. Children up to 2 years old get free admission. 

When purchased for a specific date, adult tickets cost $46.95 during peak hours and children's tickets cost $31.95. Off-peak hours cost $41.95 for adults and $26.95 for children.

For flexible tickets valid throughout the holiday season, adult tickets cost $56.95 and children's tickets cost $41.95.  

Are there discounts for members?

Members can get an advanced look at the lights Wednesday and Thursday. Conservation-level members get free tickets all season, while Wildlife Conservation Society Zoo and Land & Sea members get 40% off all tickets. IDNYC and Aquarium Members also get 40% off tickets.
