THE BRONX (PIX11) -- A man has died following an assault in the Bronx Saturday evening, according to the NYPD.
The incident happened around 6:10 p.m. at 1022 Throgs Neck Expressway, police say.
The victim was identified as Kristopher Samaroo, 30. Samaroo sustained trauma about the body, police say. He was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
The incident was over a rent dispute and a bat was used as a weapon, sources told PIX11 News.
Police have arrested Omar Lamoni, 43, and Edwin Nina, 39, both residing at 1022 Throgs Neck Expressway. Lamoni was charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child, and Nina was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Investigations are ongoing.
