KINGSBRIDGE HEIGHTS, the Bronx (PIX11) --- A hit-and-run driver was nabbed more than two years after an 80-year-old man was hit and killed on a Bronx street, police said Tuesday.
Pedro Guzman, 50, was arrested and charged last week with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death in connection to the Nov. 19, 2021 incident, according to the NYPD.
Guzman allegedly hit Tung Vo on Jerome Avenue in Kingsbridge Heights just after 6 a.m., police said. Vo suffered severe head and leg injuries and died at the hospital the same day.
Guzman drove off down Jerome Avenue after the incident, police said.
Guzman pleaded not guilty during his arraignment, according to court records. His attorney could not immediately be reached Tuesday.
