Bronx BP Gibson on tackling the opioid crisis

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – The opioid epidemic is taking a toll on the Bronx, with over 800 opioid-related deaths in 2022, according to the New York City Department of Health.

There were at least 712 opioid deaths in the borough in the first quarter of 2023 alone, data showed.
