NEW YORK (PIX11) --- Julian Shen-Berro from Chalkbeat breaks down how the state and city budgets impact funding for New York City schools.
Gov. Kathy Hochul has set a budget of about $13.3 billion for the schools in five boroughs, which is about 2.5% more than this fiscal year, according to Shen-Berro.
