CORONA, Queens (PIX11) --- Two young males threatened and robbed three boys in a Queens subway station on Sunday, police said.
The suspects pulled a sharp object on a 13-year-old and two 12-year-old boys on the No. 7 train platform at the 103 Street-Corona Plaza subway station at around 4 p.m., according to the NYPD. The men stole two cellphones before running out of the station, police said. The boys were unharmed.
Last week, two sisters, ages 14 and 6, were robbed and choked in a Brooklyn apartment building, authorities said. The suspect initially asked a 14-year-old girl to give him her gold necklace before choking her younger sister and taking off with both their chains in Brownsville, police said. The 6-year-old girl suffered bruising around her neck but did not need medical attention.
There have been no arrests in either incident, as of Tuesday afternoon.
