Boy hit, killed by truck in Queens: NYPD

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A child was killed and another injured by a driver in Queens on Wednesday afternoon, according to police. 

The accident occurred at 4:16 p.m. at 31st Avenue and 100th Street in East Elmhurst. Officers arrived to find an eight-year-old boy and another 10-year-old boy had been stuck by a truck, police said.

The 10-year-old was taken to the hospital, and the eight-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident, police said.
